The Carbon IV combat athlete's guide to cutting, gaining and weigh-in recovery.
One PDF plus the online calculator. Delivered straight after payment, no account needed.
Most fighters read a weight-cut guide the week before their fight. By then the useful part is already over. The decisions that decide how you feel on fight night are made eight, ten, twelve weeks out, when you pick your division and set your camp numbers.
Picking a class is packing for a flight with a 23 kg bag limit. You do not stand at the check-in desk pulling out 6 kg of clothes while the queue watches. You pack for the limit at home, weeks before, when it costs you nothing.
Who is this for?
Adult combat athletes, 18 and over, who manage their own weight for a competition weigh-in: BJJ, no-gi grappling, MMA, boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, judo and kickboxing. Growing athletes should not be cutting weight, and the calculator will not build a plan for anyone under 18.
Does it include the calculator?
Yes. The guide is built around the Making Weight calculator, which gives you your camp calories and macros, your fight-week day by day, and your plan from weigh-in to walkout. Every equation it uses is printed in Chapter 3 so you can check any number by hand.
I'm on prescription medication. Is this safe for me?
Speak to your doctor before you plan a fight week, especially anything for blood pressure, the heart, the kidneys, blood sugar or mood. Dehydration changes how those drugs behave, and nothing in this guide replaces that conversation.
Does it cover diuretics or fat burners?
Yes, and it's direct about them. Prescription diuretics and laxatives are never used to make weight, they're banned under the World Anti-Doping Code and dangerous in a dehydrated body. The guide explains what actually moves the scale safely instead.
What format is it?
One PDF, 32 pages, with the printable weekly weigh-in log, fight-week checklist and weigh-in to walkout timer sheet built into the back of it.
You'll be taken to a secure Mamopay checkout. Your guide lands on your download page straight after payment.
